Finding a Church
home sometimes can be hard, but in reality it's
what your looking for that can cause the most
harm. It's so easy to allow worldly entertainers in
your home through television, radio and other like
sources. Not to say that it's wrong, or your going
to hell for that, but our minds are fed with all
fortune and fame instead of Jesus.
By allowing
this over the years we have adapted these aspects
of being professional in our music and in our
preaching in order to draw and keep people in
Church. Have we missed Jesus? " Is Jesus in what
we are really doing? Have we become more involved
in all the church politics, keeping the same
people, same color, same fancy suit coat,
same long dress, same puffed up hair do, same big
diamond ring, that gets more attention, while the
offering plate is passed around?
Do we really
need fancy stage lights to reach the younger
generation? Do we really need a Rock Band to shake
up our spoiled little world?
We do sometimes need
a KICK in our Church Worship "but what kind of of
kick will it be when we are mad and upset with our
neighbor across the street? How will you act at
Wal-Mart when there's only one check out line.
Are you exposing Jesus, or" are we exposing to the
store manager you are THE Church Leader for that
Sunday morning, and
if your stuff is not checked out right then
,you'll be late for Service. It appears in the
attitudes today that no one can be
saved if the Praise Band Leader is missing or is
late. Who
is being fooled? God will show up, but he's
waiting on the Leaders to show up not show out.
When your searching
for a Church Home don't seek for foolish things.
Seek and Search for a Home that you can feel
loved, treated with respect and dignity as if you
were at Grandma's House. Remember, "her little
house of worship is small, but she has a big big
God living within it. That's what makes
visiting her so special. One other thing" Ask her
was it the stage lights that kept her loving you so
much
or a Heavenly Light she secretly discovered once
upon a time. You'll be surprised when she ask you
what you've been drinking.
